Orthokeratology
Orthokeratology is a non-invasive and reversible method of vision correction by utilizing a hard contact lens to alter the shape of the front surface of the cornea. After being evaluated by an eye care specialist, a custom lens can be ordered. An orthokeratology contact lens is meant to be worn during sleep and removed upon waking. Vision is temporarily corrected and glasses or other refractive corrections are no longer necessary. Clinical evidence has also shown that orthokeratology can be used to manage the progression of myopia.
